It’s our goal to get guests through the main gates as timely as possible, while also ensuring the safety of all guests. Please take note of the following prior to arriving at Blame My Roots Festival.
OK to Bring In:
- One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar)
- Small clutch bags, waist packs, fanny-packs or similar approximately the size of a hand*
- Blankets
- Service Animals with proper documentation
- Binoculars
- Wheelchairs
- Cell Phones
- Chapstick
- Cigarettes
- E-Cigs and Vape Pens
- Contact Lens Solution (Eye Drops)
- Sunblock (non-aerosol)
- Tarps max size 4’ x 6’ (Subject to measuring at gate)
- Canopy max size 10’ x 10’ (Must remove from carrying case when entering).
- Canopies must be remain in designated area
- Folding chairs (Must remove from carrying case when entering)
- Coolers
- 31” and under (Yeti 65), store-bought coolers only
- Built-in wheels are acceptable
- Coolers MUST BE empty – cannot be used to carry personal items
- No ice or freezer packs
- BE PREPARED FOR COOLER INSPECTION, while waiting in line:
- Don’t be that guy holding up the line
- Open lid(s)
CANNOT Bring In:
You will be asked to take prohibited items back to your vehicle or campsite. We will not hold or check personal belongings.
- Outside food or drink
- Custom or homemade coolers
- Alcohol
- Ice or freezer packs
- Glass containers of any kind
- Backpacks, tote bags, or any other large bags including but not limited to bladder style backpacks
- Selfie-sticks, gopro sticks, tripods
- Umbrellas
- Wagons
- Cameras with detachable lenses
- Drones or aircraft
- Anything illegal (drugs, weapons, explosives, fireworks, etc.)
- Anything disruptive (noisemakers, etc.)
- Pocket knife of any size
- Pets/animals (excludes individually trained service dogs with proper documentation)
- Skateboards, scooters bikes, or personal motorized vehicles
- Aerosol cans (sunscreen or bug spray)
- Propane lanterns (absolutely no flames)
- Laser pointers
- No open containers when exiting the gate
*MEDICAL Exceptions:
Exceptions to above restrictions will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection at the gate designated for this purpose. If necessary, items that pass inspection may also be checked at the Panhandle Emergency Services Med Tent next to Gate A
BMRF Staff & Security Teams have the authority to not allow any object deemed unsafe and/or disruptive to staff, attendees, or artists.
